Things you need to make sure of before you start your lesson:

Here are a few things that you might want to be sure about before and while taking your driving lessons:

Safety measures:

You might be afraid to start your lessons, but once you dare to do so, you must talk to your instructor about the safety measures that are to be taken without being nervous about it. You need to be prepared so that you don’t catch any infection. Here are some instructions that are given by the government that you and your instructor must follow:

  • Sanitizing all the touchpoints in the car and cleaning it before and after every lesson.
  • Wear a PPE kit.
  • Cover every part of your body and show as little skin as possible.
  • Keep the windows open while taking the lesson to reduce the spread of germs.
  • Wash or sanitize your hands before and after the session.

Face masks:

If you can’t wear a PPE kit, at least make sure that you wear a face mask for every driving lesson. Every student must wear a facemask while driving and the same goes for the instructors as well. Remember to buy them and use them appropriately.

Sanitization:

You can refuse to sit in a car if it is not well sanitized. Another way round, if you refuse to wash your hands or sanitize them before and after the lesson, the instructor has the full right to cancel it. The same goes for wearing a face mask.

Read the driving theory:

Before you take classes make sure that you revisit the lessons that you had taken prior lockdown in your mind. You might have forgotten some of them or have picked up some bad driving skills during this period.

Book your lesson in advance:

Many people in the country would have lost their touch on driving during the lockdown. If you are one of them, you must book your class in advance because you might not find a slot immediately at the counter. Online booking will be the best option in this case.
